In each of the last four years, I have returned to this nearby Limestone Outcrop to photograph the rocks, leaves and bare trees and printed my images in beautiful black & white. There is only a two to three week window in late November and early December when all of the leaves have fallen and no snow has gathered on the ground. I prefer cloudy bright conditions with no direct shadow to photograph the range of grey tones in this landscape. While these rocks have been here for ages, I always seem to find something new and interesting to photograph each year.
Photographed using a Canon 5D Mark II camera and a TS-E 24mm f/3.5 Tilt-Shift lens.
